Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Consultant with 10 to 12 years of experience specializing in Transportation and Logistics. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model with day shifts. This role does not require travel. The Sr. Consultant will provide strategic insights and solutions to enhance our logistics operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and optimization of transportation and logistics processes to improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the implementation of logistics solutions that align with company goals.
  • Provide expert advice on logistics strategies to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support logistics initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all logistics activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for logistics operations.
  • Facilitate training and development programs for logistics staff to enhance their skills.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and improve logistics outcomes.
  • Support the development of logistics budgets and manage costs effectively.
  • Prepare and present reports on logistics performance to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation and logistics.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show proficiency in logistics software and tools.
  • Have experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Display a thorough understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Be adept at data analysis and reporting.
  • Show a track record of successful logistics project management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and implement logistics strategies.
  • Have experience in risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Be committed to continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification in logistics.
