Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with AWS cloud knowledge to migrate our databases from our data center to AWS cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle database administration AWS cloud services and database migration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Database Migration - Migrate Oracle databases from on-premises data center to AWS cloud.
2. Oracle Database Administration - Administer Oracle databases including performance tuning backup and recovery and security.
3. AWS Cloud Services - Design and implement AWS cloud services for databases including RDS EC2 and S3.
4. Database Security - Ensure database security and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
5. Troubleshooting - Troubleshoot database issues and resolve problems quickly.
Requirements
1. Oracle DBA Expertise - experience with Oracle database administration including performance tuning backup and recovery and security.
2. AWS Cloud Knowledge - experience with AWS cloud services including RDS EC2 and S3.
3. Database Migration Experience - Experience with database migration from on-premises to cloud.
4. Scripting Skills - Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL PL/SQL and Python.
Certifications Required
AWS Certified Database Specialty or equivalent.
