Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in PostgreSQL and Oracle Golden Gate. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with no travel required. The candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of PostgreSQL and Oracle Golden Gate databases.
• Ensure database systems are secure reliable and perform optimally.
• Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning measures.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for database configurations processes and procedures.
• Implement and manage database replication and data integration solutions.
• Conduct regular database audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
• Automate routine database tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical database systems.

Qualifications

• Possess strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Oracle Golden Gate.
• Have a solid understanding of database security and performance tuning.
• Demonstrate experience in database backup and recovery strategies.
• Show proficiency in database replication and data integration solutions.
• Exhibit excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Have a track record of successfully managing database upgrades and migrations.
• Be familiar with automation tools and scripting languages.
• Understand industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Be able to document technical processes clearly and concisely.
• Show a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.

Certified PostgreSQL DBA Oracle GoldenGate Specialist Certification
