Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Architect with demonstrated ability to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake Tasks Snowflake Streams Snowflake SQL and Snowpipe. Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Cards & Payments is a plus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive our companys success and impact society positively.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake-based data solutions.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of Snowflake Tasks Streams and SQL.
- Provide technical expertise in Snowpipe for efficient data ingestion.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Ensure data solutions are scalable secure and performant.
- Develop and enforce standard processes for Snowflake usage and data management.
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance and cost.
- Solve and resolve issues related to Snowflake infrastructure.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in Snowflake technologies.
- Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and industry trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture processes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business goals.
- Document technical specifications and project progress.
Qualifications
- Must have extensive experience with Snowflake Tasks Streams SQL and Snowpipe.
- Should have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and standard processes.
- Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Cards & Payments is highly desirable.
- Should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Must have good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Must be thorough and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Should have a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Should have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Must be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Should have experience with data security and compliance standards.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Posting End date 03/14/2025
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 – $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
