Senior Java Dev w/AWS and Angular (Remote)

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Java Dev w/AWS and Angular with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.
Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.

Work Authorization

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Remote)
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will:
- Understand software development principles and best practices.
- Have full stack development experience.
- Be skilled in front-end technologies, Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Use DevOps and Cloud tools (Apigee, AWS, Kubernetes, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, CI/CD).
- Design, build, and support APIs.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for technical decisions.
- Drive cross-team collaboration and project execution.
- Solve problems creatively.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively and lead with self- direction
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Full stack development experience.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Cloud tools (Apigee, AWS, Kubernetes, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, CI/CD).
- Experience in designing, building, and supporting APIs.
- Ability to mentor junior developers.
- Coordination skills with stakeholders for technical decisions.
- Problem-solving and innovative thinking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Thought leadership for continuous improvement.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until June 6 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $68,422– $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
