Role: Senior Mainframe Developer

Experience: Minimum 8 to 10+ years of solid experience.

Job Location: Candidates need to be willing to work in a Hybrid model from the Client’s office in Brookfield - WI, Hopkins – MN and/or Irving - TX

Must Have Qualifications

• Mainframe Sort/Compare Utilities, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, Git, IDZ, Mainframe Focus.

• Application enrichment & upgrade services / IBM Mainframe Utilities, CICS, VSAM, JCL, DB2, Cobol.

Responsibilities

• The Engineering Manager will oversee the development and maintenance of IBM Mainframe systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• With a focus on CICS, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and Cobol, the role requires a strategic approach to managing projects and teams.

• Experience in Cards & Payments is beneficial, enhancing the ability to drive innovation in financial services.

• The position is hybrid, with occasional travel required.

• Candidate should also have very good knowledge and be hands-on in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2.

• Need to support offshore teams.

Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $65K – $117K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
