About the role:
In this function, you will be responsible for coordinating accounts receivable operations, ensuring smooth execution of financial processes from Poland. It involves leading a team of specialists, supporting their professional growth, and maintaining high standards of performance. The position requires close collaboration with internal and external partners, monitoring key performance indicators, and initiating improvements when needed. It also includes participation in transformation projects, development of process documentation, and involvement in initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review activities performed by Team Leaders and Process Coordinators,
- Participates in transition and transformation of the accounting process: transfers knowledge, creates and reviews process documentation,
- Manages a team of accounting specialists (includes recruiting, performance review, motivation, career development, etc.),
- Monitors metrics and takes action to prevent backlogs and corrective actions in case metrics are not met,
- Identifies areas of improvement and takes part in quality and training initiatives (error analysis, CSAT results, etc.),
- Creating awareness on driving projects, process improvement strategy & methodology and ensuring maximum operational efficiency,
- Responds to queries from vendors, customers and local finance teams by phone and email,
- Participates in or leads additional projects as needed/assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- Good level of English language (min. C1/C2),
- Previous AR experience required: 6–8 years overall, including 3–4 years in a lead or managerial role,
- Prior experience in managing and building high-performing teams,
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system,
- People management skills & ability to guide and motivate team,
- Good understanding on working with targets, meeting/exceeding client expectations and building rapport skills
