Roles and Responsibilities:

The Architect role is pivotal in designing and implementing robust data integration solutions within our hybrid work model. With a focus on Informatica Powercenter and ETL processes the candidate will drive data warehousing initiatives ensuring seamless data flow and integration. This position requires a deep understanding of scheduling basics and PL/SQL contributing to the companys data strategy and impacting the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions using Informatica Powercenter to ensure efficient data flow across systems.
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of ETL processes utilizing Informatica Scheduler and External Scheduler to optimize data processing.
  • Provide expertise in PL/SQL and SQL to enhance data warehousing capabilities and support complex data transformations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for automating data integration tasks.
  • Drive initiatives in data warehousing concepts to improve data storage and retrieval processes ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Implement best practices in data integration to support the Life and Annuities Insurance domain enhancing data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure seamless integration of data across various platforms leveraging Informatica PowerExchange for real-time data exchange.
  • Develop strategies for optimizing data processing and integration focusing on scalability and performance improvements.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integration processes to ensure reliability and efficiency addressing any issues promptly.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct regular assessments of data integration processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data integration technologies to continuously enhance the company’s data strategy.

Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience in Scheduling Basics and External Scheduler demonstrating proficiency in managing complex data workflows.
  • Have a strong background in Informatica PowerExchange and Informatica Scheduler showcasing expertise in data integration tools.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL with a proven track record of optimizing data warehousing processes.
  • Exhibit knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts contributing to the development of efficient data storage solutions.
  • Show expertise in ETL processes and SQL ensuring seamless data transformation and integration.
  • Have experience in Unix Shell Scripting automating data integration tasks to enhance efficiency.
  • Possess domain knowledge in Life and Annuities Insurance applying data integration skills to support industry-specific needs.
