We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst Manager with a minimum of 12+ years of experience, including expertise in payment initiatives, to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of business analysts and drive strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in business analysis, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to convert complex data and business requirements into actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to identify improvement opportunities, ensure projects meet business objectives, and deliver value through data-driven decision-making.
In this role, you will
· Interact with Business to collect business requirement
· Handle application Demo's with Business
· Break business requirements in smaller user stories for scrum scoping
· Track tasks and execute with speed and impact in a fast-paced environment
· Using data analytics, to derive logical conclusions and forecasts from implementing strategies that can improve business performance
· Breakdown information granularly but also work with different stakeholders " and communicate in a way their audience will understand.
Required skills: what you need to be considered
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related major with minimum of 12+ years of experience.
· Must be expert in System Requirement Analysis, Business Analysis & Planning, Regulatory Business Understanding.
· Strong expertise in payment systems, technologies, and industry regulations.
· Must have expertise in JIRA, Confluence, UML and understanding of Cloud, GitHub, database
· Must have Agile/SAFe experience - Must be expert in driving out requirements, knowledgeable regarding traceability within agile.
· Must have good communication skills for interacting with different stakeholders in a way their audience will understand.

Salary and Other Compensation:
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $84,183 – 135,500 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
Working arrangements
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 or 3 days a week in a client office in Toronto, ON. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
