Job Summary
Serve as a senior business analyst with deep experience in MS Dynamics Great Plains and Dynamics 365 translating complex business needs into scalable platform solutions. Apply strong analytical and domain insight to design optimized processes support hybrid delivery and enable data informed decisions that advance enterprise growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit document and refine detailed requirements for enhancements and new solutions on MS Dynamics Great Plains and Dynamics 365 ensuring alignment with strategic business outcomes.
- Analyze current state processes across finance operations and related functions to identify gaps and improvement opportunities that can be addressed through Dynamics platform capabilities and data driven decision practices.
- Design future state process flows and solution blueprints that leverage core Dynamics features and configurations to maximize system value while maintaining simplicity scalability and ease of maintenance.
- Coordinate with technical teams to translate functional requirements into clear configuration and integration specifications that ensure accurate implementation on MS Dynamics Great Plains and Dynamics 365.
- Validate solution designs through impact analysis and scenario walkthroughs to confirm they meet business objectives regulatory expectations and internal quality standards before build activities begin.
- Create comprehensive user stories acceptance criteria and traceability matrices that connect business requirements to system features test cases and production outcomes.
- Drive and support system testing by preparing detailed test conditions reviewing test results and resolving defects in partnership with functional and technical team members.
- Develop user focused documentation such as functional specifications process guides and reference materials that enable efficient onboarding and adoption across hybrid working teams.
- Facilitate workshops walkthroughs and demonstrations to help stakeholders understand Dynamics capabilities proposed solutions and process changes in practical business terms.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to define reporting needs key performance indicators and dashboards that turn Dynamics transaction data into meaningful insights for business decision makers.
- Support change management planning by identifying impacted user groups helping plan communication content and advising on training topics that increase confidence and system utilization.
- Collaborate with cross functional and geographically distributed teams in a hybrid work model using structured communication routines to keep initiatives on track and risks visible.
- Monitor post deployment performance metrics and user feedback to recommend incremental enhancements that improve process efficiency data quality and business satisfaction over time.
Qualifications
- Apply advanced analytical thinking and problem solving skills developed over ten to twelve years of business analysis experience to break down complex issues into actionable solution options.
- Utilize deep hands on expertise in MS Dynamics Great Plains to define configurations workflows and integrations that support financial and operational processes with high reliability.
- Leverage substantial experience with Dynamics 365 modules to recommend best practice usage patterns extension approaches and upgrade friendly designs that protect long term platform value.
- Draw on exposure to analytics and data oriented initiatives to help shape reporting models metrics and dashboards that offer clear visibility into performance and business outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills that enable clear requirement narratives precise specifications and understandable guidance for both business and technical audiences.
- Exhibit practical experience working in hybrid delivery environments using digital collaboration tools and structured routines to coordinate activities without the need for travel.
- Employ solid understanding of software development life cycle practices and agile methods to plan analysis tasks manage requirements scope and support predictable delivery timelines.
