Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead is an important role within our organization that gives a person a wide range of responsibilities and opportunities to grow themself and others.
As a senior software engineer you will join a skilled team of engineers building a unique product. It would be a project with a mixed tech stack and microservice architecture. You will play a role in developing software using one of the backend technologies: Java, Javascript or .NET. You should be also skilled with one of the front-end frameworks like React or Angular – there is no strong requirement for specific technology stack. Important part of responsibilities is leading and growing team members. This includes setting and following career path, goals, having regular one on one meetings, monitoring team health and motivation, participation in job interviews and company events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Leading and mentoring the engineering team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Contributing to success of project delivery.

- Hands-on engineering:
- participating, leading and scheduling agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
- Collaborating with other team members to gather and understand requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Developing and maintaining front-end web components. Building and consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
- Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues. Continuously improving the software development process and practices.
- Communicating with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project goals are met. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve the software and the development process.
Job requirements:
- Proven analytical ability, problem-solving and risk management skills.
- Ability to analyse/summarize information and provide insights (reports, recommendations, other forms).
- Experience in managing engineering teams.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Mindset for knowledge sharing.
- Fluent communication in English.
- Deep experience and track record with one of the backend technologies, it may be Java, .NET or Nodejs.
- Experience with one of the front-end frameworks (like React, Angular or Vue).
- Understanding and practical experience with Devops technology stack.
Understanding and practical use of cloud provider services (AWS, Azure, GCP or similar).
