AWS Glue or Lambda PySpark or Python for batch and micro-batch processingMedallion architecture implementation - Bronze or Silver or Gold layersAmazon S3 data lake design for raw curated and certified zonesAmazon Athena for analytical querying and cost aware access patternsApache Iceberg table design partitioning and maintenanceSnapshot management and time travel usage in IcebergAmazon Redshift for high concurrency and analytical workloadsAmazon RDS - approved engines for operational and serving data storesB. Pipeline Orchestration and Eventing - Required
Workflow orchestration using AWS Step FunctionsEvent-driven ingestion using Amazon EventBridgeAWS Lambda for lightweight processing and control plane logicAWS Fargate and approved container platforms for scalable executionCoordination of batch micro batch and event driven pipelinesError handling retries and compensating actionsState management for long running and multi stage workflowsC. Data Reliability and Operational Readiness -Required
Design of idempotent restartable pipelinesBackfill and reprocessing strategiesDefinition and monitoring of pipeline SLAs or SLOsIntegration with enterprise monitoring and alerting toolsD. Cost and Performance Engineering - Strongly Preferred
