About the role
As a Field Services Audio Visual Technician, you will make an impact by ensuring seamless, reliable technology performance across conference rooms, collaboration platforms, and workplace technology infrastructure. You will be a valued member of the Field Services / Workplace Technology team and work collaboratively with end users, internal IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers to keep meetings, presentations, and business events running without disruption.
In this role, you will:
- Support and maintain audio visual conferencing systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, telepresence solutions, and meeting room panels — troubleshooting audio, video, display, camera, microphone, and connectivity issues as they arise.
- Provide break-fix support for conference room equipment and integrated AV systems, testing video conferencing rooms ahead of scheduled meetings, executive presentations, town halls, and hybrid business events.
- Deliver onsite support for local infrastructure, network equipment, and workplace technology devices, applying hands-on troubleshooting knowledge across platforms such as Crestron, Cisco, and Poly.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to manage escalations, equipment repairs, and replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and equipment changes, while following established service procedures, security requirements, and agreed service-level timelines.
