Job Summary
Python Developer Engineers at El Puerto de Liverpool are responsible for developing and supporting one or more technology services. They design build and maintain scalable applications and services on Google Cloud Platform.This role requires strong expertise in deploying serverless solutions using Cloud Run and developing robust integrations with the conversational AI platform Dialogflow.
Responsibilities
Develop test and deploy high-quality Python applications and APIs.
Design and manage scalable serverless microservices on Google Cloud Run.
Build and maintain webhooks for Dialogflow CX or ES handling fulfillment logic and integrating with backend systems.
Work with core Google Cloud services including Pub-Sub for event-driven architectures Cloud Storage and Firestore for data management.
Collaborate with product managers conversational designers and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Consistently ship tested features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members delivering features in an incremental fashion and by collaborating with the team to keep our product in a releasable (healthy) state all the time.
Help to improve the overall experience of our product through improving the quality of the features identifying areas of improvements in the code base and by listening to any feedback received from both your team and other teams.
Learn collaborate and teach other Software Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they have been in the industry. So we can grow all together and set the bar higher all the time
Contribute to and follow our software dev process alongside the rest of the Software Engineers by identifying any bottlenecks bureaucracies or improvements that need to be addressed leading to a more refined and streamlined software dev process
Influence on the overall vision and long-range goals of your team. This could be technical and-or product focused.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
2+ years of professional experience in software development.
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Python with specific experience in Pandas and Flask libraries.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Run Cloud Functions and Cloud Scheduler.
Proven experience with Docker containers.
Understanding and implementation of Encryption mechanisms.
Strong experience designing Microservices and documenting building APIs (using Swagger).
Experience with both NoSQL (Firestore MongoDB) and Relational databases (PostgreSQL Oracle MySQL).
Experience with Conversational Agents and Prompting techniques.
Proficiency in CICD pipelines specifically using Github.
Experience working in Agile-Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence.
Soft Skills - Proactive attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
Specific experience configuring DialogFlow CX.
Experience with BigQuery.
Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts.
Familiarity with advanced Design Patterns.
BS-MS in Computer Science Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field
