About the role
As a Senior Flutter Developer, you will make an impact by designing and building a modern Flutter-based Logistics Workflow Hub that supports frontline business operations through scalable, secure, and resilient mobile applications. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering team and work closely with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative enterprise mobility solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Develop scalable mobile solutions supporting Android, iOS, and Zebra handheld devices.
- Build reusable UI components, workflow-driven experiences, and enterprise-grade mobile frameworks.
- Implement offline-first functionality utilizing SQLite, synchronization services, caching mechanisms, and conflict resolution strategies.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, Microsoft Azure services, Dynamics 365 Field Service, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and other enterprise platforms.
- Develop and maintain secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Apply MVVM and Clean Architecture principles to deliver maintainable and scalable solutions.
- Create and support automated testing frameworks and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Monitor application performance and participate in production support activities.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements and implement effective technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this position requires associates to work three (3) days onsite and two (2) days remotely per week from Parsippany, NJ.

What you need to have to be considered
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Strong experience building and supporting enterprise-grade Android applications.
- Experience implementing offline-first mobile architectures and synchronization frameworks.
- Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and mobile application design patterns.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with OAuth, OIDC, SSO, and mobile application security best practices.
- Experience with Git, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
These will help you stand out
- Experience developing applications for Zebra ruggedized mobile devices.
- Experience integrating with Dynamics 365 Field Service.
- Knowledge of logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehouse management, or field operations.
- Experience working with enterprise mobility management solutions.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise mobile deployments.
- Familiarity with telemetry, monitoring, and mobile application performance optimization.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.

Salary and Compensation
The annual salary for this position is expected to be between $68,422 and $114,000, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other business considerations.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive compensation program based on performance and company results.
