Senior SAP FICO Consultant – Vertex
About the role
As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant – Vertex you will make an impact by driving financial process design across global clients and ensuring seamless tax compliance through Vertex integration. You will work closely with stakeholders across finance, supply chain, and technical teams.
In this role, you will:
- Configure inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
- Configure and support SAP FI modules: AP, AR, GL, AA, Bank & Tax Accounting.
- Support integration with SD, MM, and other modules.
- Lead implementation and support initiatives across ECC & S/4 environments.
- Support IDOCs, interfaces, and bank statements.
- Manage Vertex support and troubleshoot US Tax Application issues.
- Collaborate with global teams and communicate with client users.
Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Sao Paulo, SP. What you need to have to be considered:
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Advanced English.
· SAP FICO knowledge.
· Background with ECC & S/4 implementations and support.
· Good understanding of system architecture and module integrations.
· Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.
· Hands‑on experience with interfaces, IDOCs & bank processes.
· Knowledge managing Vertex (US tax).
· Strong communication and client‑facing capability.
These will help you stand out
· Background supporting global finance transformations.
· Exposure to SAP Central Finance.
· Knowledge with automation tools (Winshuttle, BAPIs, RPA).
