Job Summary
The Sr Software Engineer B2 will design develop and optimize scalable web applications using Angular and Java in a hybrid work model with day shift. The role focuses on building secure high performing services and intuitive user interfaces that power enterprise solutions while mentoring peers and collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver high quality maintainable code that supports business growth and a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust web applications using Angular and Java to deliver secure scalable and maintainable solutions that support critical enterprise workflows and enhance overall product reliability and usability for end users.
- Develop optimize and maintain backend services and application programming interfaces using Java to ensure efficient data processing high availability and seamless integration with front end components and external systems.
- Create dynamic accessible and responsive user interfaces using Angular to provide intuitive user journeys improve task completion efficiency and support mission critical business operations in a hybrid working environment.
- Collaborate with product managers architects and fellow engineers to refine requirements break down complex features and deliver incremental value that aligns with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Write clean testable and reusable code following established coding standards and patterns to reduce defects simplify future enhancements and support long term maintainability of the application ecosystem.
- Implement comprehensive unit tests and integration tests for Angular and Java components to improve code coverage reduce regression issues and build confidence in continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Analyze performance metrics identify bottlenecks across front end and backend layers and implement tuning strategies that improve response times resource utilization and overall system throughput.
- Participate in code reviews provide constructive feedback and adopt peer suggestions to continuously improve code quality foster shared ownership and maintain consistent engineering practices across the team.
- Investigate production issues perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive fixes that improve system stability reduce incident recurrence and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define test scenarios reproduce defects and validate fixes ensuring that each release maintains consistent quality within agreed timelines for day shift delivery cycles.
- Contribute to technical design discussions by evaluating design options estimating effort and recommending solutions that balance performance security and maintainability for Angular and Java based services.
- Mentor junior engineers by sharing best practices in Angular and Java development code organization and debugging techniques helping to raise overall team capability and delivery velocity without formal leadership responsibilities.
- Document technical designs architectural decisions and operational procedures in a clear and structured manner to support knowledge sharing onboarding and long term system sustainability for global stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Exhibit strong hands on expertise in building complex single page applications using Angular version ten or above with a deep understanding of components services modules routing forms and state management concepts.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Java for backend development including object oriented design exception handling collections multithreading fundamentals and the use of modern frameworks for building scalable services.
- Apply solid experience with restful service design data exchange formats and integration patterns to connect Angular front ends with Java backend systems in a secure and efficient manner.
- Utilize practical knowledge of relational or document oriented databases to design efficient queries structure data access layers and ensure data integrity and performance in production environments.
- Show proven experience with version control and branching strategies using common tools to manage collaborative development code reviews and reliable deployments in a hybrid work setting.
- Employ familiarity with automated build and continuous integration practices to streamline testing packaging and deployment of Angular and Java applications across multiple environments.
- Leverage excellent problem solving and analytical skills to debug complex issues across the full stack propose pragmatic solutions and communicate technical trade offs with cross functional partners.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer or equivalent Java certification and any recognized Angular framework certification.
