Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot to deliver robust business functionality that supports complex enterprise workflows and reliable transaction processing.
- Develop secure and efficient Rest API interfaces that enable seamless integration between internal systems external partners and front end applications while maintaining consistent data contracts.
- Implement responsive single page user interfaces using Angular to provide intuitive user journeys clear visual feedback and efficient navigation across critical product features.
- Model query and optimize MongoDB collections to support high volume data access patterns ensuring effective indexing aggregation and storage strategies for performance and stability.
- Refactor existing services and components to improve code readability maintainability and testability while aligning implementations with modern engineering standards and reusable design patterns.
- Conduct detailed code reviews for peers to identify defects improve implementation quality and promote consistent coding practices that reduce production incidents and maintenance overhead.
- Create and maintain comprehensive unit tests and integration tests that validate core business logic Rest API contracts and data persistence flows to enable safe and frequent deployments.
- Collaborate with product owners business analysts and quality engineers to translate functional requirements into clear technical designs and incremental delivery plans with realistic estimates.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues by analyzing logs metrics and traces then implement durable fixes and preventive improvements that enhance overall application resilience.
- Optimize service performance through profiling query tuning and resource configuration to meet agreed response time targets and throughput goals under peak usage conditions.
- Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to align application packaging environment configuration and deployment pipelines with hybrid work practices and secure access controls.
- Document key service designs API specifications data models and operational runbooks in a clear and accessible format so that other engineers can easily understand and support the platform.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security quality and coding guidelines by applying secure coding principles input validation error handling and data protection measures in all deliverables.
- Engage in sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement to plan work items manage dependencies and deliver outcomes that align with program milestones and business priorities.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities by sharing technical insights proposing automation opportunities and adopting best practices that increase delivery efficiency and product reliability.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate extensive professional experience designing and implementing business applications using core Java and Spring Boot frameworks across multiple complex projects.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in building and consuming Rest API services including request validation authentication flows and structured response handling tailored to enterprise use cases.
- Show proven hands on experience with MongoDB data modeling indexing strategies and performance tuning to support scalable and reliable document oriented storage solutions.
- Apply practical front end development experience with Angular including component based architecture state management and integration with backend Rest API endpoints.
- Utilize solid knowledge of software engineering practices such as object oriented design design patterns test driven development and continuous integration to deliver maintainable solutions.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders across product engineering and operations groups to clarify requirements explain technical decisions and support hybrid collaboration.
- Leverage experience working on large scale distributed systems to handle concurrency fault tolerance and observability considerations in day to day engineering activities.
