AVP - Field Solution Engineering to focus on Tokenized models and Direct PaaS Services
Mandate- Take our tokenized consumption-based commercial models and direct PaaS offerings to market define the pricing and metering constructs package them for direct client adoption and partner closely with the field to validate demand and convert it into self-serve cloud-native PaaS consumption.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross functional consulting engagements that design and implement cloud native solutions using microservices architectures aligned to enterprise standards and regulatory expectations
- Oversee analysis of client business processes to identify opportunities where scalable APIs and microservices can simplify operations and improve reliability and performance
- Provide expert guidance on adopting FinOps practices that improve cloud cost visibility accountability and efficiency across AWS GCP and Azure environments
- Drive creation of target state cloud architectures that balance resilience security performance and cost while supporting long term digital transformation roadmaps
- Coordinate with product engineering and operations teams to define reusable API patterns and microservices blueprints that accelerate time to market for new features
- Guide implementation of observability practices including logging metrics and tracing that help teams monitor microservices availability and proactively resolve incidents
- Manage stakeholder expectations by translating technical constraints and opportunities into clear business outcomes and measurable success criteria
- Partner with financial and procurement teams to design cloud budgeting forecasting and chargeback models that align with FinOps principles and organizational goals
- Review and refine deployment pipelines and automation practices to ensure consistent secure and efficient delivery of microservices across hybrid cloud environments
- Influence decisions on vendor selection and cloud native tooling by providing objective evaluations based on scalability interoperability and total cost of ownership
- Support risk management activities by identifying cloud related operational and compliance risks and by recommending mitigation strategies that minimize business impact
- Mentor consulting and engineering professionals by sharing practical guidance on microservices design API governance and FinOps adoption in complex enterprises
- Coordinate with client leadership to define value realization plans that track benefits of cloud initiatives including cost savings process efficiency and improved customer experience
Qualifications
- Require extensive experience delivering large scale microservices based solutions with strong understanding of domain driven design and distributed system patterns
- Require proven expertise building and managing APIs including specification versioning governance and lifecycle management using modern API management platforms
- Require deep hands on exposure to at least one major cloud provider such as AWS GCP or Azure with working knowledge across multiple platforms preferred
- Require strong FinOps background including experience implementing cloud cost allocation optimization and reporting practices in collaboration with finance and technology stakeholders
- Require demonstrated capability to lead consulting style engagements including discovery assessments roadmap definition and execution oversight for complex client programs
- Require experience with hybrid work models including remote collaboration tools and practices that enable effective coordination across distributed teams and client locations
- Nice to have experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and service mesh solutions that support secure and reliable microservices communication
- Nice to have exposure to data analytics and dashboarding tools used to visualize cloud usage cost metrics and operational health indicators for executive stakeholders
- Nice to have familiarity with regulated industry environments such as financial services healthcare or public sector where compliance and security requirements are stringent
- Nice to have background in organizational change management that supports adoption of new cloud operating models and FinOps practices within large enterprises
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Google Professional Cloud Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or FinOps Certified Prac
