Job Summary
This hybrid Sr Software Engineer B3 role focuses on designing developing and optimizing enterprise grade applications using Core Java and Java frameworks & NTAC targeting high reliability scalability and security in a multinational environment. The role involves close collaboration with cross functional teams during day shifts to deliver resilient solutions that support strategic business initiatives while ensuring maintainability and long term operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Domain Experience -NDC Order
- Design scalable and maintainable Core Java services that address complex business requirements while ensuring high performance and resilience in a global enterprise environment.
- Develop clean modular Java components that can be reused across applications to reduce duplication and improve long term maintainability.
- Implement robust integration logic between Java services and internal or external systems using secure and efficient communication patterns.
- Review existing Java codebases to identify optimization opportunities and refactor components for improved readability stability and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with product owners and business partners to translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs that align with organizational standards.
- Coordinate with quality engineering teams to define comprehensive test strategies and ensure high code quality through unit tests integration tests and automated checks.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues in Java applications by analyzing logs and metrics to quickly identify root causes and restore stable operations.
- Optimize application performance by tuning Java code database interactions and configuration parameters to meet strict response time and throughput expectations.
- Apply secure coding practices in all Java development activities to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
- Document technical solutions design decisions and deployment procedures so that teams across locations can easily understand maintain and extend the systems.
- Mentor junior engineers by sharing Core Java best practices coding standards and debugging techniques to elevate overall team capability.
- Coordinate effectively in a hybrid work model using virtual collaboration tools to maintain clear communication progress visibility and timely delivery during day shifts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to development processes tooling and monitoring that increase reliability and developer productivity.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in Core Java including object oriented design collections multithreading exception handling and performance tuning applied in complex enterprise projects.
- Utilize experience with Java based frameworks or libraries such as dependency injection frameworks logging frameworks and build tools to streamline development workflows.
- Apply solid understanding of relational databases and structured query concepts to design efficient data access layers and optimize queries used by Java applications.
- Leverage familiarity with version control systems continuous integration and continuous delivery practices to support reliable and repeatable deployments in a hybrid work setup.
- Exhibit proficiency in analyzing functional requirements and converting them into detailed technical solutions while collaborating closely with cross functional stakeholders.
- Draw on prior experience of at least ten years in software development roles to independently handle complex tasks and deliver robust outcomes in enterprise contexts.
- Apply knowledge of agile or iterative delivery methods to plan prioritize and execute development activities in alignment with sprint goals and release timelines.
