About the role
As a Consulting Manager, Digital Banking, you will make an impact by leading the delivery of strategic digital banking transformation initiatives across business and technology organizations. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services team and work collaboratively with Product Owners, Technology Owners, Portfolio Management teams, and business stakeholders to drive roadmap execution, program governance, and successful product delivery.
You will serve as the bridge between business, product, and technology teams, ensuring complex banking initiatives are delivered effectively from ideation through implementation while maintaining alignment with business objectives, delivery commitments, and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will:
Own product delivery execution, roadmap governance, backlog management, and prioritization activities across digital banking initiatives
Partner with Product Owners and Technology Owners to drive execution planning, PI planning, quarterly planning events, and cross-functional delivery alignment
Manage program risks, dependencies, impediments, budgets, forecasts, and governance activities to support successful delivery outcomes
Develop and maintain business requirements, process flows, use cases, testing artifacts, and implementation documentation
Lead executive reporting, stakeholder communications, system integration coordination, operational readiness activities, and regulatory program delivery
Work model – Hybrid
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3–4 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Plano, Texas or the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

What you must have to be considered
7+ years of Project Management, Program Management, Product Delivery, or Transformation Management experience
5+ years of Digital Banking experience
Strong understanding of Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, or Business Banking products and operations
Proven experience leading large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives within financial services
Strong experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, PI planning activities, and release execution
Demonstrated experience coordinating Product Owners, Technology Owners, Business Teams, and Portfolio Management stakeholders
Experience managing enterprise system integrations and large-scale program delivery
Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial management, risk management, and dependency tracking
Experience developing business requirements, process flows, use cases, test plans, and business analysis deliverables
Experience managing regulatory, compliance-driven, or risk-sensitive initiatives
Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
Ability to operate independently and drive delivery with minimal supervision
These will help you succeed
6+ years of Program Delivery, Product Delivery, or Transformation Leadership experience
Experience working with large financial institutions and Tier-1 banking organizations
Strong expertise in Jira-based product management, including roadmap management from Idea → Initiative → Epic → User Story
Experience leading Product Increment (PI) Planning and large Agile delivery programs
Experience preparing executive dashboards, leadership reporting, and portfolio governance artifacts
Familiarity with Hyperion Forecasting and financial planning processes
Experience working with cross-functional technology, operations, and business teams in digital transformation initiatives
Strong knowledge of banking operational processes, digital banking platforms, and enterprise integration architectures
Experience driving change management and operational readiness activities within banking environments
