Key Responsibilities – OT & Automation Technical Support
· Basis of Design (BoD) Support
Provide technical expertise and guidance during the development and review of the Basis of Design for automation and OT systems.
· OT-Level Support for Automation Projects
Deliver technical support across automation engineering activities, including project execution, delivery, and implementation of new products and systems.
· OT Infrastructure & Technology Selection
Support the selection, specification, and implementation of OT hardware, software, and supporting infrastructure for facility expansion projects.
· OT Network & Infrastructure Support
Provide expertise in OT network infrastructure, including:
- Network architecture
- Security system (Firewall) configuration
- Bench-top and lab equipment connectivity.
· MES & Data Systems Support
- Provide technical support for MES-related activities, including:
- Recipe configuration and management
- Manufacturing Batch Records (MBR)
- Data historians and integration
· Cybersecurity & Risk Management (CTD Support)
Collaborate with CTD teams to provide support in:
- OT cybersecurity implementation
- Risk assessments
- Security system (Firewall) port requirement analysis.
- Upgrade impact assessments (Go/No-Go decisions)
· DeltaV Hardware Support
Provide technical expertise for DeltaV hardware systems, including selection, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and lifecycle management to ensure system reliability and performance.
· HCI (Hyper Converged Infrastructure) Infrastructure
Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of HCI infrastructure for OT environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimized performance of critical systems.
· Virtualization & Infrastructure Support
Provide technical support for VMware-based virtual environments, including design, installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of virtual machines and hosts.
· DMZ Layer support
Provide technical support for the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) layer in OT network architecture, ensuring secure data exchange between IT and OT systems, adherence to cybersecurity standards, and proper configuration of security controls.
· Backup & Disaster Recovery Support - Acronis Backup & Recovery Solution
Provide technical support for Acronis-based backup and recovery solutions in OT and automation environments including design, installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of backups.
· Upgrade Projects
Support system upgrades activities for platforms such as:
- DeltaV
- MES
- OSI PI
- PLC & HMI systems
· Analytics, IIoT & Plant Performance Support
Provide technical support for Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions and Plant Pulse platforms to enable predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
Support data analytics, monitoring, and reporting systems to improve asset reliability, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
· Lifecycle Management of OT Assets
Ensure effective lifecycle management of OT devices, including maintenance, upgrades, obsolescence handling, and performance optimization.
