Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Subject Matter Expert in R2R with 3 to 6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance-Record to Report (GL) and a good understanding of Finance & Accounting Record to Report-Accounting. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on day shifts and no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Record to Report (R2R) process ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee the general ledger (GL) activities and maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Provide expertise in Finance-Record to Report (GL) to support business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor junior staff on R2R processes.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and tools.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in Finance-Record to Report (GL) with 3 to 6 years of experience.
- Have a good understanding of Finance & Accounting Record to Report-Accounting.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Display the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Certifications Required
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
