Subject Matter Expert- R2R

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Subject Matter Expert in R2R with 3 to 6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance-Record to Report (GL) and a good understanding of Finance & Accounting Record to Report-Accounting. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on day shifts and no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Record to Report (R2R) process ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee the general ledger (GL) activities and maintain the integrity of financial records.
  • Provide expertise in Finance-Record to Report (GL) to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on R2R processes.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and tools.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in Finance-Record to Report (GL) with 3 to 6 years of experience.
  • Have a good understanding of Finance & Accounting Record to Report-Accounting.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Display the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Certifications Required

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
