Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal Hardware Engineer with 9 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hardware chips digital logic design and hardware architecture. Experience in industrial manufacturing is a plus. This hybrid role requires working primarily during the day shift with no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop hardware components and systems ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to validate hardware designs.
  • Oversee the integration of hardware components into larger systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for hardware designs and processes.
  • Perform testing and debugging of hardware components to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware technology and incorporate them into designs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all hardware designs.
  • Optimize hardware designs for cost performance and manufacturability.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve designs.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production and assembly of hardware components.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of hardware development processes and methodologies.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in hardware chips digital logic design and hardware architecture.
  • Have experience in industrial manufacturing which is considered a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Show proficiency in using hardware design and simulation tools.
  • Have a solid understanding of industry standards and regulations.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Hardware Design Engineer (CHDE) or equivalent certification.
