As a Network Architect you will develop long-term network strategies and provides technical leadership to ensure robust, secure, and scalable network infrastructures. This includes naturally the relationships with customer, Cognizant leaders and vendors to implement innovative solutions.

The oil and gas industry is a complex business that involves exploring, drilling, refining, and distributing oil and natural gas. It's also known as the energy sector. The oil & gas industry includes all the companies involved in the process of finding, drilling, extracting, refining, and distributing the commodity. The industry comprises three categories: upstream, midstream, and downstream.
About You:
Your role as a senior network architect involves leading and executing network infrastructure projects to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. You will oversee the implementation and management of SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, Infoblox, Cisco DNAC, and Azure ISE solutions, ensuring the network infrastructure is functional, future-proof, and aligned with business objectives. Track project progress and performance, making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and quality standards. Ensure all network-related activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
You will develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and technical specifications. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Extensive experience in network infrastructure and cloud-based network devices.
Your Key Result Areas:
Implementation of Solutions: Oversee the deployment and management of SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, Infoblox, Cisco DNAC, and Azure ISE solutions.
Strategic Development: Develop long-term network strategies that align with organizational goals.
Complex Network Design: Create complex network designs that support large-scale and high-performance requirements.
Architectural Strategy: Formulate strategies for network architecture, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and provide regular reports to management.
Required & nice to have Skills:
• Primary mandate skill required –
• Extensive Architect-Level Expertise in Cisco Data Routing and Switching
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise in designing and implementing solutions using tools such as Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC, Infoblox, Cisco Meraki, Cisco Wi-Fi Network, and possess strong knowledge of SD-WAN.
• Possess strong expertise in BGP and OSPF, with a thorough understanding of VRF, Multi-VRF, and MPLS.
• Planning and Implementation of Network Architecture. This includes naturally transformation, modernization and standardization of legacy Network.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting, maintenance, and future upgrades.
• Ensure that the network infrastructure complies with industry standards and best practices for security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
Secondary mandate skill required:
• Demonstrate strong expertise in modular switches, including Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, 3K, 2K, as well as 4500 and 6500 series switches
• Possess good knowledge and experience with Checkpoint firewall systems.
