We are currently looking for a Finance Specialist to join our growing team.

What you´ll do

As a Finance Specialist, you will lead the monthly close process, coordinate with third-party local accountants and advisors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also analyze financial results, prepare reports, and support external audits and tax inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly close including responsibility for all month-end close activities.
  • Coordinate with third-party local accountants and advisors.
  • Prepare and record journal entries and accruals for monthly close.
  • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure vendor and employee reimbursements are processed and paid timely.
  • Analyze monthly financial results for inclusion in corporate consolidated financial statements.
  • Review monthly statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor adherence to company’s corporate accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Initiate and drive initiatives to improve controls and efficiency.
  • Provide leadership to ensure implementation of accounting improvement opportunities.
  • Respond to special financial requests and communicate potential problem areas.
  • Conduct financial reviews and analysis as requested.
  • Address relevant technical accounting issues and ensure compliance.
  • Interact with local functions including HR, Legal, and Business Operation Teams.
  • Interact with other Finance functions including FP&A Shared Services.
  • Liaise with Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit.
  • Support external audits and tax inspections.
  • Prepare Flux report, accruals and assets reports, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Mentor associates as requested.
  • Support internal areas on local requirements.
  • Liaise with Transfer Pricing Team for LATAM.

Necessary skills and experience required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting and invoicing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • English language proficiency: Upper intermediate and above.

Shift: Full time, 9-6 ART, hybrid (one day per week in the office).
