Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Budapest; Hybrid work model
Project Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of ADP GV and its integration with Workday, including the implementation of Workday's compensation and time & attendance (T&A) modules. This project is crucial for enhancing our global business operations.
Job Summary: As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will initiate and manage IT projects focused on the enhancement, upgrade, migration, and integration of application systems such as Workday, ADP, and other payroll applications. You will work collaboratively with various divisions and cross-functional teams worldwide to deliver cost-effective implementations that exceed stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, assess impact, and determine implementation approaches, schedules, budgets, and resource needs in collaboration with global stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit business and technical requirements, and prioritize implementations aligned with IT strategies.
- Communicate effectively with global teams across different time zones and cultures.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Lead teams to resolve project issues and constraints, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts.
- Develop and execute operational and technical project plans, facilitate project gate reviews, and escalate issues as needed.
- Actively manage project scope and changes, identify risks and issues, and ensure successful project completion.
- Provide regular status updates to the Leadership and Management team.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to take on new priority projects.
Key Skills:
- 7-10 years of experience as an IT project manager, with at least 4 years in payroll implementation and Workday integrations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or 10 years of experience in IT projects.
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll system implementation.
- Strong communication skills, capable of delivering formal presentations to various management levels.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in integration projects with globally distributed business groups (EMEA, US regions).
