Learning Content Curator

What you’ll do

Your mission as a Learning Content Curator will be Support HotEvents by assessing and editing the quality and relevancy of algorithmically generated news content. Ensure readability and craft compelling headlines for news events. Utilize editorial judgment to adhere to project guidelines established by Google's internal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Assessment: Evaluate and edit news content for quality, relevance, and readability.
  • Headline Writing: Create engaging and accurate headlines for various news events.
  • Quick Decision Making: Ability to rapidly assess news content for relevance, trustworthiness, and adherence to guidelines.
  • Keen Editorial Judgment: Apply editorial standards and guidelines as determined by Google's internal team.
  • Communication: Demonstrate strong, clear communication skills with customers and colleagues, showcasing enthusiasm and a commitment to success.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality service that exceeds client expectations and meets quality scoring measures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Modern Languages or related fields.
  • Language Level: Advanced English and Spanish
  • Availability to work non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays.
