We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with Snowflake experience and you will be designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms and pipelines. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data solutions.
In this role, you will
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows with Azure Monitor to ensure high performance.
- Design and implement data solutions using Snowflake SQL to support business needs.
- Write efficient and maintainable code in Python for data processing.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all data platforms.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Possess strong experience in Azure Monitor for monitoring and optimizing data workflows.
- Have prior experience in Azure Data Factory for developing scalable data pipelines.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python.
- Show expertise in Snowflake SQL for designing and implementing data solutions.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client office in Halifax, NS.
