Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium and experience in Program Management is a plus. This hybrid role requires working primarily during the day shift with no travel required. The Sr. Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium to streamline the testing process.
  • Provide expertise in Java to develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to validate software functionality after changes or updates.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Mentor and guide junior quality engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to quality standards.
  • Work closely with developers to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.
  • Utilize program management skills to coordinate testing activities and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing tools and technologies.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering.
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Show proficiency in conducting thorough regression testing.
  • Have experience in program management (nice to have).
  • Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and technologies.
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving software defects.
  • Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior quality engineers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Show a commitment to continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
