Agile Team Coach Senior

Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced SAFe-certified Agile Team Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in complex and interdependent environments across multiple teams. This position requires the ability to work within a squad of a global, multicultural solution with distributed teams, ensuring effective collaboration and continuous value delivery in a highly regulated environment.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the adoption and implementation of the SAFe framework.
- Facilitate team-level events (Iteration Planning, Team Syncs, Iteration Reviews, and Iteration Retrospectives).
- Facilitate ART-level events with the team (PI Planning, ART Sync, System Demos, and Inspect and Adapt), ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and aligned.
- Work on removing impediments that hinder the team's progress.
- Collect and analyze performance metrics such as velocity, burndown, DORA metrics, and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure value delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and other stakeholders to ensure a clear and prioritized backlog aligned with the strategic objectives defined in PI Planning (PI Objectives).
- Implement risk management practices by identifying risks at both the team and ART level and facilitating their mitigation.
Essential Skills
- Languages: Advanced or fluent English to work with a globally distributed team.
- Frameworks: Knowledge and experience in SAFe, Scrum, and/or Kanban.
- Metrics: Familiarity with agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, burnup, quality metrics, DORA metrics, and flow metrics.
- Flow Authority: Stay attentive to metrics and continuously seek areas for improvement in processes to optimize value delivery flow.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the team and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Agile Team Coach in organizations implementing agile at scale in complex and interdependent environments across multiple teams.
- Experience with global and distributed teams.
- Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts/impediments within and outside of the team.
- Availability to work in the Eastern Time (EST) zone.
- Certification as a Scrum Master is mandatory.
- SAFe certification is a preferred differentiator.
- Knowledge of GxP software development is a plus.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
