Job Title: System Administrator
1. Job Summary – highlight project details/what is exciting about the role :
Project Management and problem management for and environment consisting of Windows Server (NT4-2022) and AD, Backup and storage, on a virtualized environment of VMWare(2.5-6.x) and Nutanix, security and hardening, patching and maintenance
2. Key Responsibilities – list what the person will be doing on a day to day basis:
- As Senior System administrator you will be responsible for:
- Small Projects to support application installation and ITSM processes on ServiceNow
- Change and incident management for the infrastructure running a large portfolio of applications in a regulated medical environment
- The focus is on Windows, VM and hardware management, but understanding of dependencies on/to application servers, databases, network and firewalls will help you to navigate the environment.
- Awareness of the need for strict documentation in a regulated environment is required
3. Job Requirements
Strong background of system administration
Essential Skills:
Project management and ITSM
ServiceNow
Windows Server and AD(NT-2022), monitoring, patching and hardening
Physical servers/blades and storage.
Stakeholder and 3rd party management
Regulatory Documentation
French speaking,
Within 45 minutes (or even 1 hour) travel distance of Wavre,
Willing to participate in on-call, schedule 1 week every 6 weeks
Nice to Have Skills: Databases, MSSQL Oracle
Application Servers
Networking and firewalls
Qualifications: Microsoft Certified Engineer or equivalent through experience
