Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cucumber Java and Selenium along with domain experience in Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our projects. The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the highest quality of software products.Utilize Cucumber Java and Selenium to automate test scripts and enhance testing efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards.Conduct thorough testing of Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer systems to identify and resolve defects.Provide detailed documentation of test results defects and corrective actions to stakeholders.Monitor and report on the progress of testing activities ensuring timely completion of testing phases.Implement best practices in quality assurance to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to enhance code quality and prevent defects.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in all testing activities.Mentor and guide junior quality engineers sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of quality.Collaborate with product managers and developers to prioritize and resolve defects based on business impact.Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality assurance and testing technologies.
Qualifications
Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Demonstrate strong proficiency in Cucumber Java and Selenium for test automation.Have extensive experience in testing Medicare & Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer systems.Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve defects.Show strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Display a proactive approach to quality assurance continuously seeking ways to improve processes.Have a keen attention to detail to ensure the highest quality standards are met.Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Show a commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior quality engineers.Exhibit strong documentation skills to provide detailed and clear test reports.Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks based on business impact and urgency.Show a strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements in quality assurance.
