Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Mechanical Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in NX Open and CAD CAE Customization with a preference for those with experience in the automotive industry. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to our innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of mechanical systems using NX Open and CAD CAE Customization tools.Oversee the creation of detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing.Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design proposals to determine the best approach.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all designs.Perform simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and optimize performance.Develop and maintain documentation for all design processes and modifications.Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve designs.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and CAD CAE technologies.Support the development of prototypes and oversee testing to ensure functionality.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.
Qualifications
Possess a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Have a minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on NX Open and CAD CAE Customization.Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Show experience in the automotive industry is a plus.Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.Display proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.Have a strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.NX Customization using NXOpen C# .NET C++ Geometry.
Experienced in customizing NX modules like Modeling Assemblies Drafting and Sheet Metal Design.
PLM working experience.
