Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java and Python and domain experience in Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting. This hybrid role requires proficiency in German (Read/Write Speak) and offers a day shift schedule. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Python to ensure high-quality software delivery.Provide thorough analysis and documentation of test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality standards in the development process.Conduct regular code reviews and provide feedback to developers to enhance code quality.Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.Monitor and report on key quality metrics to stakeholders ensuring transparency and accountability.Drive the adoption of new testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance the teams testing capabilities.Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions to provide input on testability and quality.Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
Must have strong proficiency in Java and Python for test automation.Must have domain experience in Hi-Tech and Finance & Accounting.Must be fluent in German (Read/Write Speak).Nice to have experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks.Nice to have knowledge of industry standards and best practices in software testing.Nice to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Nice to have strong communication and collaboration skills.Nice to have ability to work in a hybrid work model.Nice to have experience in conducting training sessions and workshops.Nice to have familiarity with test management tools.Nice to have ability to work independently and as part of a team.Nice to have attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
