Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is mandatory while experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. The role is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium and TestNG to improve testing efficiency.Provide expertise in Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.Utilize Java programming skills to develop and maintain automated test scripts.Manage and track defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and communication with the development team.Implement and maintain build automation using Maven to streamline the build process.Perform database testing using PL/SQL to ensure data integrity and accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality.Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software stability and reliability.Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test scripts.Provide regular status updates on testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.Mentor and guide junior team members in testing methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
Possess strong experience in Jenkins Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL.Have a solid understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance domain.Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance domain is a plus.Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.Show proficiency in test automation and continuous integration tools.Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.Be adaptable to a hybrid work model with day shifts.Display a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Show a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.Exhibit a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
