Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls and will work in a hybrid model with rotational shifts. This role does not require travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our companys digital assets and ensuring the security of our network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Implement and manage Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls to protect the companys network from cyber threats.Monitor network traffic and analyze security events to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution to minimize impact on business operations.Collaborate with IT and other departments to design and implement security solutions that align with business objectives.Provide guidance and support to team members on security best practices and emerging threats.Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends technologies and threat intelligence to enhance the companys security posture.Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on security risks and best practices.Maintain and update security documentation including incident reports risk assessments and security policies.Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Ensure the security of cloud-based systems and applications by implementing appropriate security controls.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls and their configuration.Have experience in conducting security assessments and audits.Demonstrate knowledge of network security principles and practices.Show proficiency in analyzing and responding to security incidents.Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.Stay current with the latest cyber security trends and technologies.Hold relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CEH.Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model with rotational shifts.Display a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.Have experience in developing and delivering security awareness training.Show ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Certifications Required
CISSP CISM CEH or equivalent certifications relevant to cyber security.
