Role: .Net L2 Full Stack Developer
Location: Chicago – IL (Onsite)
Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for “Senior .Net Full Stack Developer” to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are looking for an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the ideal opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Architect and design new features for a suite of applications that services the Tax Oriented Investments business
- Look at the current ecosystem and make changes to the platforms
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
- Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a function wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
- Adds to the team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
- Formal training or certification on designing and building large-scale distributed systems and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Expert knowledge of C#/.NET programming language
- Solid understanding of React JS programming language
- Proficient in SQL Server
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Ability to address design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Excellent knowledge within AWS public cloud ecosystems
- Any certifications in AWS, .NET or Python are nice to have

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 – $105,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
