Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium with a preference for those with domain experience in Analytics. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel required. The Sr. Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.Utilize Java and Selenium to automate test scripts and enhance testing efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting any areas of concern.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline the testing process.Monitor and track software defects ensuring timely resolution and closure.Work closely with developers to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate with the analytics team to leverage data insights for improving testing processes.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for software quality.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.Have experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.Demonstrate proficiency in test automation and scripting.Show ability to analyze test results and provide detailed reports.Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferably have domain experience in Analytics.Be familiar with industry trends and best practices in software testing.Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.Show ability to work in a hybrid model and day shift.Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.Possess a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 8 years of relevant experience.Hold a relevant certification in software testing or quality assurance.
