Agile Test Architect
Location: Carmel, IN
The position can also consider candidates willing to travel as required for client connects.
Required Qualifications:
• 15+ Years of experience in testing with focus on agile test methodology, processes
• 5 + years of experience in Agile process and implementation of a comprehensive testing framework that encompasses testing methodologies, tools, and best practices across different ARTs.
• Experience in Collaborator management, working with multiple vendors to meet business needs.
• 5+ years in financial or Insurance domain is a plus
Roles/Responsibilities:
• Design and develop an overall test strategy for the enterprise IT, taking into consideration the business objectives, technology landscape, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with partners such as ART test leads to understand delivery and testing requirements and design testing approaches that meet those requirements.
• Work with Agile Release Trains and other stakeholders to communicate the test strategy and ensure alignment with delivery goals.
• Provide training and mentoring to ensure ARTs and other stakeholders are knowledgeable and capable of implementing the test strategy, including the testing center of excellence.
• Establish and implement a comprehensive testing framework that covers testing methodologies, tools, and standard processes across different ARTs.
• Define and support standardized testing processes to ensure consistency and reliability in testing activities across the organization, including DevOps capabilities.
• Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to evaluate their potential benefit to the enterprise.
• Provide recommendations on the adoption of new testing tools and technologies that can improve efficiency and effectiveness in the testing process.
• Own critical testing environments, working in partnership with the ART Test Lead and ART System Teams, including coordination of test environment usage across efforts.
• Steward for ensuring appropriate availability, currency, and masking of test data.
• Ensure integrations across test environments are available as needed to support test needs.
• Identify and assess potential risks related to testing activities and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement in testing processes by analyzing metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the test strategy to ensure it remains aligned with the evolving needs of the organization.
• Facilitate communication between different teams involved in testing to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure that testing activities adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Establish and support compliance measures to meet quality and regulatory standards applicable to the organization.
• Establish strategy for initiative and epic testing in collaboration with ART test leads
• Ensure ART Test Leads are completing End-To-End Cross-ART test plans
• Help resolve cross-ART testing issues and impediments
