We are seeking an experienced VMware specialist with 8 to 10 years of experience in VMware and Windows administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to manage and maintain our infrastructure. Experience in the Media domain is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Vmware infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Oversee Windows administration tasks including installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams for infrastructure-related issues.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the company's infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead efforts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company's infrastructure remains current.
- Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.
- Ensure all infrastructure changes are adequately tested and documented before implementation.
Qualifications
- Possesses strong experience in VMware administration.
- Have extensive knowledge of Windows administration.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Show the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Have experience in the Media domain (nice to have).
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
