Job Summary
We are seeking a Software Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java Spring boot REST API. Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.Troubleshoot debug and optimize existing software applications to ensure performance and reliability.Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.Implement best practices for software development including coding standards testing and documentation.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and tools.Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Ensure that software solutions are scalable secure and meet business needs.Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains competitive.Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality of the codebase.Assist in the deployment and monitoring of applications in production environments.
Qualifications
Must have strong experience in SQL Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL.Nice to have experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Must possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.Should be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Must have a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies.Should be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.
