Job Summary
The BigCommerce Tech Lead will play a crucial role in leading a team of developers while ensuring timely delivery of high quality Shopify solutions. The role demands expertise in both BigCommerce Theme and App development.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of BigCommerce developers providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Collaborate with designers project managers and other stakeholders to define project scope and timelines.
Develop custom Stencil themes or Catalyst frameworks
Design and build custom BigCommerce apps to extend platform functionality.
Ensure code quality through regular reviews testing and debugging.
Optimize BigCommerce stores for speed SEO and user experience.
Manage third party integrations with ERPs CRMs and marketing platforms.
Stay updated with BigCommerces evolving ecosystem and introduce new solutions to improve business outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5 years of BigCommerce development experience with deep knowledge of Stencil HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.
Expertise in BigCommerce API integrations including REST and GraphQL.
Proficiency in app development using Node.js React.js or similar frameworks.
Experience with Catalyst framework is highly desirable.
Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage project timelines.
Excellent communication skills with experience in client interactions.
