Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in MS SQL Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, including proficiency in Python, Apache Spark, Apache Hive, Apache Airflow, and SQL Server.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Pipeline Design and Implementation:
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark and Python.
• Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions with Apache Hive.
• Orchestrate data workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Manage and query databases using SQL Server.
• Collaboration and Optimization:
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimize and troubleshoot data processing jobs to ensure performance and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all data pipelines.
• Database Management:
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and security across all systems.
• Monitor and tune production systems for optimal performance.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a SQL Server Data Engineer or similar role with a minimum of 6 years of overall experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design principles.
• Proficient in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code.
• Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Knowledge of Apache Hive for data warehousing solutions.
• Proficiency in using Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows.
• Required experience with Databricks and Data Factory.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Databricks and Data Factory.
