Job Summary
We are seeking a Automation Quality Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GITHUB Javascript Java TestNG and Selenium. Experience in the Media and Entertainment domain is a plus. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
- Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium and TestNG to improve testing efficiency.
- Provide expertise in Javascript and Java to develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
- Ensure the integration of GITHUB for version control and continuous integration processes.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software stability and performance.
- Monitor and report on test execution progress and quality metrics.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Mentor junior quality engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance testing processes.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to software quality.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and issues.
Qualifications
- Possess strong technical skills in GITHUB Javascript Java TestNG and Selenium.
- Have experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Show proficiency in conducting thorough regression testing.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software defects.
- Have excellent communication skills to provide updates to stakeholders.
- Experience in the Media and Entertainment domain is a plus.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior quality engineers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work model with flexibility.
