Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium and experience in the Analytics domain is a plus. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the companys success. The position requires a day shift with no travel.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for various software projects.Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium to ensure high-quality software delivery.Provide expertise in Java programming to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues throughout the software development lifecycle.Ensure that all software meets the companys standards for functionality performance and reliability.Conduct thorough regression testing to verify that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.Utilize analytics domain knowledge to improve testing strategies and identify potential areas of improvement.Mentor junior quality engineers and provide guidance on best practices in testing and automation.Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential defects early in the development process.Develop and maintain documentation related to testing processes procedures and outcomes.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and any issues encountered.Continuously evaluate and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve the quality assurance process.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to software quality and testing.
Qualifications
Must have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.Experience in the Analytics domain is a plus.Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Must possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.Should have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Should have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues.Must be able to mentor and guide junior team members.Should have experience with regression testing and test automation.Must be familiar with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.Should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be able to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.Should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
