Job Summary
As a Sr. Quality Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of software quality and performance. With a focus on Java and Selenium you will design implement and execute test plans to identify and resolve defects. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality and performanceOversee the execution of automated and manual tests using Java and SeleniumProvide detailed analysis and reporting of test results to stakeholdersCollaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defectsEnsure adherence to best practices and industry standards in quality assuranceDevelop and maintain test scripts and frameworks for automated testingMonitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processesParticipate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with standardsConduct root cause analysis for identified defects and implement corrective actionsMentor and guide junior quality engineers in best practices and methodologiesCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software productsStay updated with the latest trends and advancements in quality engineering and testing toolsContribute to the continuous improvement of the quality assurance process
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Java and SeleniumDemonstrate experience in designing and executing test plansHave a solid understanding of automated testing frameworksShow proficiency in analyzing and reporting test resultsExhibit excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skillsHave experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineersDisplay knowledge of best practices and industry standards in quality assurancePossess strong collaboration and communication skillsDemonstrate ability to work in a hybrid model with flexibilityHave experience in program management (nice to have)Show commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trendsExhibit attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
