Job Summary
As a Sr. Quality Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with development teams to design and implement test strategies leveraging your expertise in Java and software development engineering in test. Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement comprehensive test strategies that ensure product quality and reliability.Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify and document defects ensuring timely resolution.Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams to facilitate continuous improvement.Participate in code reviews and provide input on software design to enhance testability and quality.Oversee the execution of test plans and monitor testing progress to ensure alignment with project timelines.Utilize software development engineering in test practices to enhance testing frameworks and methodologies.Coordinate with program management to align testing efforts with project goals and deliverables.Implement best practices in quality assurance to drive improvements in testing processes and outcomes.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members fostering a culture of quality and excellence.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Monitor and report on key quality metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance testing capabilities.
Qualifications
Possess strong expertise in Java and software development engineering in test with a proven track record of successful testing projects.Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving defects.Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Have experience in program management which is a valuable asset for coordinating testing efforts.Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
