Job Summary
The Sr. Developer role focuses on leveraging Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services to create impactful data visualizations and models. With a strong emphasis on Bioinformatics the candidate will transform complex data into actionable insights. This position requires expertise in Power BI tools and Azure Analysis Services contributing to the companys data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business objectives and enhance data visibility.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.Utilize SQL Server Analysis Services to optimize data processing and ensure high performance of BI solutions.Implement data modeling techniques in Power BI to create robust and scalable data structures.Apply Mash Up Language in Power BI to integrate and transform data from various sources.Use DAX in Power BI to create complex calculations and measures for insightful data analysis.Manage Power BI Service to ensure seamless deployment and accessibility of reports and dashboards.Leverage Azure Analysis Services to enhance data analysis capabilities and support advanced analytics.Conduct thorough testing and validation of BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability of data outputs.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI and SQL-related issues to maintain system integrity.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and innovations.Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and Bioinformatics to drive continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols to protect sensitive information.
Qualifications
Possess strong expertise in Power BI Report Builder and Power BI Report Server for effective report creation.Demonstrate proficiency in SQL Server Analysis Services and Power BI Service for data management and analysis.Have experience in data modeling and Mash Up Language in Power BI to build comprehensive data solutions.Show advanced skills in DAX for complex data calculations and insights.Familiarity with Azure Analysis Services and MS Power BI to support advanced data analytics.Proficiency in MS Excel and Database SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
