Job Description:
The Functional Lead role requires a professional with 5 to 7 years of experience in SAP TM modules focusing on subcontracting freight cost management and transportation planning. The candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts contributing to optimizing transportation processes and enhancing operational efficiency. This position does not require travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and optimization of SAP TM modules ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
- Oversee subcontracting processes within SAP TM to enhance vendor management and operational efficiency
- Provide expertise in freight cost management and settlement aiming to reduce costs and improve accuracy
- Develop transportation planning strategies using SAP TM to streamline logistics operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SAP TM functionalities with business objectives
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all SAP TM-related activities
- Facilitate training sessions for team members to enhance their understanding of SAP TM functionalities
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality
- Support the development of value analysis and value engineering initiatives to drive cost-effective solutions
- Engage in product lifecycle management to ensure SAP TM solutions meet evolving business needs
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP TM processes focusing on innovation and efficiency
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on SAP TM project progress and outcomes
Qualifications
- Possess mandatory technical skills in SAP TM-Subcontracting & Tndrng SAP TM-Freight CostMgmt&Settle SAP TM-Transportation Planning
- Demonstrate experience in value analysis and value engineering as a nice-to-have skill
- Exhibit knowledge in product lifecycle management to support business growth
- Showcase strong analytical skills to drive transportation process improvements
- Display excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams
- Hold a bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Have a proven track record of successful SAP TM implementations and optimizations.
